Utilizing P3R events as a platform for fundraising, the charity program provides much-needed financial support to charities. Registration has CLOSED for the 2016 marathon season.
*Charity registration cancellation or race event transferring is not available for registrations after March 31. After March 31, charity runners will need to follow the general Runner Services policies listed on our FAQ page. Please contact your charity coordinator for the charity transfer form.
1,000 Dollar Club
Have you raised $1,000 through the 2016 Run for a Reason charity program*? Then you have earned yourself a spot in the 1,000 Dollar Club! Club members who have raised $1,000 by April 17 and are running for an official charity will have the sticker pre-attached to their bib. Fundraisers who have raised $1,000 by April 30, 2016 can visit Runner Services to claim their sticker by presenting proof of their fundraising page depicting a minimum of $1,000 raised for charity.
The $1,000 Dollar Club sticker will grant all club members access to the FedEx Ground Hospitality Tent in Point State Park on Sunday May 1, 2016. The tent will feature a deliciously catered lunch by Panera Bread, post-race massages, private gear check, restroom facilities and much more. Don't miss out on your chance to be a part of the club!
*Must be fundraising through the 2016 Pittsburgh Marathon CrowdRise event page or through TNT or JDRF's Pittsburgh Marathon event page.
New organizations take part by participating as a contributing charity. Contributing charity registration is now closed for the 2016 marathon season. All of our 2016 participating nonprofits are listed on our CrowdRise event page.
